THE outgoing Luangeni PF member of Parliament Charles Zulu has lamented that the grade 12 qualification clause in the republican Constitution is disadvantageous to a lot of citizens. According to him, this law is discriminatory and there is no way a higher qualification than a grade 12 certificate would have no bearing on someone’s academic status. When we hear Mr Zulu lamenting like this we wonder, where was he when this law was being passed? We have not come across an interview in any newspaper, Television or radio station where the law maker complained about this law when it was being debated in the National Assembly.
