POLITICS in Zambia are rarely ever about issues. Every right-thinking Zambian knows that. Sometimes, however, political actors really go overboard with their politics. Name-calling, outright insults, and worse; messages deliberately crafted to deceive. Sadly, in a population with high illiteracy and gullibility, as Zambia, these kinds of politics find very fertile ground. Former president Edgar Lungu has left town on a clear mission to reintroduce himself back into the political arena.
