DEFENDING African Rally Champion (ARC) Leroy Gomes yesterday crashed out in round 12 of the Zambia International Rally, leaving Kenyan Karan Patel to win it with a time of 01:31:44 hours. Patel clocked a time of 01:31:44 beating his closest rival Jassi Mangat who managed a time of 01:33:01 to stay in contention for the African title.
