Something very significant and non-political has recently happened in Zambia, which its citizens are not quite applauding. It is the news that Zambia has signed up with British luxury and travel firm PC Agency to promote the country’s tourism in the US and Europe. So significant is this deal that British High Commissioner Nicholas Woolley could not hide his excitement when he met with the agency’s CEO and founder, Paul Charles, for lunch. Woolley captioned a tweeted photo of himself and Charles: “Zambia ku chalo! PC Agency helped grow tourism numbers to Rwanda BY OVER 30% PER YEAR 2017-2023!
