ACTING Health Minister Sylvia Masebo says the Public Health Emergency Fund established under the Zambia National Public Health Institute (ZNPHI) is not yet operational. Speaking in the National Assembly, Wednesday, Masebo, however, said the fund would become fully operational by the first quarter of 2025, once the necessary regulations were in place. “The Public Health Emergency Fund established under the Zambia National Public Health Institute Statutory institute Act No.19 of 2020 is not yet operational. The process of operationalising the fund is underway, including the development of regulations which will be issued through an SI by the Ministry of Health.
