FORMER justice minister Wynter Kabimba says the imprisonment of USA-based vlogger Ethel Edwards for hate speech directed at President Hakainde Hichilema serves as an example that democracy must be civil. On Tuesday, the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court sentenced Edwards, also known as Chisono, to 18 months’ simple imprisonment for hate speech against President Hichilema.
