THE Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has appointed football administrator Lieutenant Colonel Kambani Lungu as General Manager for National Teams. He takes over from Chakatazya, who previously held the position before his recent appointment as FAZ General Secretary. Lungu, who currently serves as CEO of Red Arrows, brings extensive football experience and knowledge to the national teams’ set-up, having held various roles at both club and association level. Prior to his appointment as Red Arrows CEO, Lungu served as team manager for the Airmen, he has also previously been a member of the Power Dynamos executive committee, and FAZ believes that this equips him with a well-rounded perspective on Zambian football administration.
