GOVERNMENT has with immediate effect temporarily restricted the movement of maize grain and mealie mealie between districts. Government, however, says movements of the commodities to border towns will still be permitted on a case by case basis. And Ministry of Agriculture permanent secretary Green Mbozi says the restriction is aimed at protecting national food security.
