ECONOMIST Trevor Hambayi says KCM and Mopani Copper Mines will have no impact on the country’s economic performance in 2024. Earlier this week, Bank of Zambia (BoZ) Deputy Governor for operations Francis Chipimo expressed concern about the poor performance of the mining sector due to lower production and export earnings.
