THE Ministry of Mines and Minerals Development has signed an MoU with the Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) in a bid to enhance quality control and assurance of data being generated from the nationwide geophysical survey. Recently, President Hakainde Hichilema launched the countrywide High Resolution Aerial Geographical Survey which would be undertaken by Xcalibur Multi-physics of South Africa. Speaking during the launch of the partnership, Ministry of Mines and Minerals Development Permanent Secretary Dr Hapenga Kabeta said government had partnered with GTK to enhance the quality and accuracy of the geological data being done in Zambia.
