ZAMBIA Revenue Authority (ZRA) Commissioner General Dingani Banda says the authority may consider abolishing Withholding Value Added Tax in the future, but for now, it has only been suspended. ZRA announced the suspension of WVAT on Saturday, following the successful rollout of its Smart Invoice System. However, various stakeholders, including the Civil Society for Poverty Reduction (CSPR), have called for the complete abolishment of WVAT.
