ATTORNEY General Mulilo Kabesha has told the Lusaka High Court that former High Court registrar of the Family and Children’s Division, David Simusamba, was appointed to act in that position and not on consideration for substantive promotion. Kabesha also told the court that Simusamba was not entitled to any reliefs as he was only acting in that position. This is in a matter in which Simusamba lodged a complaint over the Judiciary’s decision to demote him from his employment. Simusamba submitted that the decision was wrongful, unwarranted, unfair and had caused him to suffer emotional anguish, stress, deprived him of his terminal benefits and many opportunities.
