A WITNESS has told the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court that former Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) commissioner general Kingsley Chanda was not a member of the ZRA Asset Disposal Committee (ADC) that disposed of several vehicles between 2017 and 2020. Siltali Mulozi, a former ZRA administration manager, also informed the court that a commissioner general did not play a role in the disposal of motor vehicles. This is in a matter in which Chanda is jointly charged with former ZRA director administration, Callistus Kaoma with 22 counts of wilful failure to comply with procedure relating to the manner they disposed of 22 used motor vehicles belonging to the commission and abuse of authority.
