A LUSAKA-based law firm, Kaumbu Mwondela Legal Practitioners, has asked the Lusaka High Court to grant it leave to commence a suit against Konkola Copper Mine (KCM). In an affidavit in support of summons for an order for leave to commence action against KCM, a company in liquidation, the law firm stated that it was in the interest of justice for the Court to grant it permission to sue the mining company. “The applicant herein intends to commence suit against the respondent in the High Court.
