THE Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has committed a 27-year-old woman of Lusaka’s Chawama compound to the High Court for trial in a matter where she is accused of stabbing her husband to death. Joyce Tembo is facing one count of murder. Particulars of the offence are that Tembo, on March 6, 2024, in Lusaka, murdered Frotia Kamanga. It is alleged that after a dispute with her husband, Tembo stabbed him in the chest, causing a deep cut. Kamanga was rushed to Chawama Level One Hospital by relatives, where he later died on the same day. Tembo was reported to the police and later charged and arrested.
