A GOVERNANCE activist has dragged ECZ to the Constitutional Court, seeking a declaration that its failure to conduct by-elections by September 25, 2024, in nine constituencies where PF MPs were expelled contravenes Article 57(1) of the Constitution and is illegal. Isaac Mwanza, who has cited the Attorney General as the second respondent in the matter, also wants an order directing the Electoral Commission of Zambia to conduct the by-elections within 30 days from the date of judgement of his petition.
