THE Court of Appeal has granted former First Lady Esther Lungu leave to appeal the judgement of the High Court forfeiting her 15 double-storey flats to the state. Court of Appeal Judge Kelvin Muzenga has also granted Tasila Lungu leave to appeal the Economic and Financial Crimes Court, High Court Division’s judgement, forfeiting her Sinda farm to the state. The duo had separately asked the High Court for leave to appeal the judgements, ordering the forfeiture of their properties.
