THE Lusaka High Court has ordered the state to compensate the family of a 17-year-old boy of Kamanga who was shot and killed by a police officer in 2020. The High Court has also awarded the sum of K150,000 in costs to the plaintiff, John Zulu, the father of the deceased, Timothy Zulu. John Zulu had sued the state demanding for compensation in the sum of K2 million for causing the untimely death and loss of life of his son.
