ZAMBIA Under-20 coach Beston ‘Quicksilver’ Chambeshi has summoned five foreign based players to beef up the squad that has set up camp in Lusaka.
According to the official list released by team manager yesterday, January 11, 2017, Chambeshi has summoned Conlyde Luchanga and Stoppila Sunzu’s young brother Ngosa, both strikers.
Denmark based midfielder Kenneth Kalunga, Getafe Winger Mumba Mwape and Portugal based Emmanuel JR Banda complete the list of foreign players who will join the local based players in camp.
Kalunga was also part of the triumphant 2016 Cosafa U-20 youth championships last month and is the only European based star currently in the country.
The ‘QuickSilver’ tutored team is preparing for the U-20 Africa Youth Championships that Zambia will host starting February 26 to March 12, 2017.
And Austria bound Patson Daka was part of the team training at Sunset Stadium yesterday. The full list of home-based players:
