CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations organizing committee president Amadou Diakite says he is satisfied by Zambia’s readiness to host the tournament.
Diakite arrived in Zambia yesterday with Anjorin Moucharafou (Benin), who is CAF executive committee member and also a member of the organisinsing committee, and CAF general coordinators Baba Malephane (Lesotho) and Sidio Jose Mugadza (Mozambique).
Speaking to journalists at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport, Djakita said CAF was satisfied with Zambia’s readiness to host the tournament.
“Since CAF gave Zambia the rights to host the tournament, we have been here several times and we have been completely satisfied of the readiness and the ability of Zambia to host the tournament,” said Djakita.
“The tournament being held in Zambia is very special because all the best teams will be here and because of that we are looking forward to a very good tournament.”
