TRANSPARENCY International Zambia (TI-Z) president Sampa Kalungu says the Auditor General’s office must take interest to verify the authenticity of MPs and Ministers’ declared assets, as some might under or over declare for various reasons. In an interview, Kalungu expressed disappointment at some MPs and government officials’ reluctance to declare their assets in time. “We are happy that at long last, many members of parliament and government [officials] have declared their asset liabilities and their incomes.
