FINANCE Minister Situmbeko Musokotwane says those who are misrepresenting the technicalities of the debt restructuring deal must revisit their books. And Dr Musokotwane says Zambians shouldn’t listen to people like PF national chairperson Davies Chama who thinks celebrating debt restructuring is foolish because he lacks knowledge. In a ministerial statement on Tuesday, Dr Musokotwane said debt restructuring had freed up $5.8 billion which could now be used for development. But some critics like PeP leader Sean Tembo wondered how a debt postponement would amount to saving and asked the minister to give a detailed calculation of how he arrived at that.
