A ZAMBIA Police Anti-Smuggling Team in Ndola has intercepted a containerised Scania truck laden with over 700 by 25kg bags of mealie meal which was destined for Congo DR for the purpose of smuggling. In a statement, Copperbelt Police Commissioner Peacewell Mweemba said the incident occurred on August 6, 2023 at around 21:30 hours in Tug-argan area, along Kambowa Road in Masaiti district. “Ndola District anti-smuggling task force, assembling for the purpose of smuggling.
