THE University of Zambia has ordered students to pay K1,000 each towards damages caused to some properties at the Main Campus due to riotous behaviour. The University of Zambia students rioted against the cancellation of UNZASU elections on September 18, this year. The riot saw students blocking the Great East Road and stoning unlucky motorists. Some students were seen damaging properties at the institution while others looted some shops within the institution.
