THE Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) has apprehended four people in Kasama’s Tazara area for unlawful cultivation of fresh cannabis plants weighing 208.6 Kilograms. And the Commission has also arrested a 39-year-old American national at Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport in Livingstone for trafficking in marijuana. In a statement, Saturday, DEC Public Relations Officer Mwenge Mulenga said the Commission had arrested the four suspects following a successful operation on Thursday. “The Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) in Northern Province has successfully apprehended four people in Kasama’s Tazara area for unlawful cultivation of fresh cannabis plants weighing 208.6 Kilogrammes.
