GOVERNMENT has called on the United States of America and other countries to remove all sanctions against Zimbabwe. Government has further reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to working closely with countries in the SADC region and beyond in fostering greater integration and cooperation. Reuters reported on Monday that the United States had terminated a Zimbabwe sanctions programme and reimposed curbs on nine people and three entities, including the country’s president, over their alleged involvement in corruption or serious human rights abuse.
