FORMER vice-president Enoch Kavindele says there is a lot of freedom in the National Assembly but it is being abused by members of parliament. In an interview, Kavindele said it was worrying when a member of parliament made a sweeping statement about Barotse Royal Establishment Induna Mwangelwa Akapelwa, who was recently shot dead, when investigations were ongoing. “Parliamentary proceedings are now on television and radio. So we do listen and watch what goes on there and people are able to make their own conclusions. Some of the things certainly are beyond parliamentary decorum.
