DMMU National Coordinator Dr Gabriel Pollen has disclosed that First Quantum Minerals (FQM) has volunteered to transport 4,000 metric tonnes of maize from Tanzania at no cost to the government. And Ministry of Information and Media Permanent Secretary Thabo Kawana says FQM will foot the $500,000 bill associated with the exercise.
