HIGHER Education Authority Director General, Professor Kazhila Chinsembu, says government is cross examining the idea of creating a one spine salary structure for all public universities in the country. And Prof Chinsembu says the authority will take keen interest in public university budgets to curb wasteful expenditure and bloated payrolls.
