COUNCIL of Churches in Zambia General Secretary Fr Emmanuel Chikoya says both government and the opposition need counselling. On Wednesday, Information and Media Permanent Secretary Thabo Kawana asked the church to counsel former president Edgar Lungu, arguing that his language whenever he touched a microphone was not inspiring. But commenting on this in an interview, Thursday, Fr Chikoya said even some government officials were fond of issuing careless statements. “I think the issue of dialogue, first and foremost, we are always ready to give counselling both to those in government and those that are put out of government.
