CHIEF Government Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa says government has no intention of over regulating social media. On Wednesday, former ACC board Chairperson Musa Mwenye cautioned government against over regulation of social media in a manner which would stifle genuine criticism because Zambians loved freedom. This was after Home Affairs and Internal Security Minister Jack Mwiimbu warned WhatsApp group administrators to curtail any illegal posts on their platforms, stating that they were liable for any wrongdoing on their platforms.
