ZESCO has reapplied to the Energy Regulation Board (ERB) for the approval of an emergency tariff adjustment on its Residential, Commercial and Maximum Demand customer categories for a period of three months. And the ERB says it will make a decision on Zesco’s reapplication for a tariff adjustment by next week. According to Zesco’s reapplication, customers that consume less than 200 units per month will experience a reduction in their monthly electricity bills, with intent to provide relief to low-income households and ensuring access to affordable electricity.
