THE Business Coalition Taskforce has expressed concern over the continued staging of police roadblocks and checkpoints despite executive orders for their removal. The coalition has urged the Inspector General of Police to permanently remove these roadblocks to ensure all bona fide road users and tourists can travel freely throughout the country without harassment. In a statement, Wednesday, the taskforce said it was unfortunate that local and foreign tourists, as well as other road users, were still being routinely subjected to harassment by police officers nationwide.
