PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has emerged as the preferred presidential candidate in an online opinion poll, with Mporokoso PF member of parliament Brian Mundubile coming in second. On December 30, 2024, News Diggers, Kalemba and an online page for Mwizukanji conducted an opinion poll on Facebook, dubbed, “If elections were called today, who would you vote for?” By press time yesterday, 73 percent of the online voters on the News Diggers Facebook page, representing 15,885 votes, supported President Hichilema.
