FORMER ACC board chairperson Musa Mwenye says it is not disrespectful for citizens to remind government of its promises and to point out where those pledges were broken. And Mwenye says history has shown that, in whatever office one holds, the only title after ‘current’ is ‘former’, emphasising that leaders must therefore conduct themselves as transient leaders, who will one day have to account for their time in office. In a statement shared on his Facebook Page, Mwenye said it was not disrespectful to hold the government to account.
