NEW Congress Party (NCP) leader Peter Chanda has expressed confidence in winning the upcoming Lumezi by-election, stating that the party already has a sympathy vote from the electorate. Meanwhile, Chanda says he is disappointed with the Electoral Commission of Zambia’s decision not to postpone the Lumezi parliamentary by-election slated for June 26, 2025, despite the death of former president Edgar Lungu.
