PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema’s visit to China for the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) Summit provides a good opportunity for very important bilateral diplomatic and economic engagements with one of the world’s most influential nations. The Summit, convened under the theme “Joining Forces to Promote Modernisation and Build a High-level China-Africa Community of a Shared Future,” further provides a strategic platform for Zambia to explore opportunities that could drive the nation’s development agenda forward.
