INTERNATIONAL Anti-Corruption Conference Council Chairperson Rueben Lifuka says countries with higher levels of corruption are less likely to sanction public officials for failing to adhere to existing rules. And Lifuka has urged the Zambian government to accelerate the operationalisation of the Access to Information law, saying “it’s good to have it, but it needs to be in place”.
