PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema says it is important for citizens to attend every traditional ceremony in the country. Speaking during the 2024 Shimunenga Traditional Ceremony of the Ba-Ila People of Maala in Namwala District, Southern Province, President Hichilema said a number of lessons could be picked up from observing what other people do during their traditional ceremonies. “I have said many times, this country, we must visit each other, learn from each other, know what other people are doing elsewhere and you can pick one or two lessons out of there,” he said.
