Chilanga member of Parliament Keith Mukata has u-turned on his decision to remain silent in his murder case.
This is in a matter in which he is jointly charged with his lover Charmaine Musonda for allegedly murdering his security guard Namakabwa Kwenda.
When the matter came up for commencement of defence before High Court judge Susan Wanjelani today, Mukata told the court that he would give evidence on oath and call witnesses.
But Charmaine maintained that she would remain silent.
The matter was adjourned to November 29, 2017 for commencement of defense.
Mukata and Charmaine were last week found with a case to answer.
