Three Zimbabwean women have appeared in the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court for stealing food stuffs and assorted items from Pick n Pay.
Lindani Ndhlovu, Joyce Mutanda and Thembi Nkhosi Ndhlovu , all of Lusaka’s Chunga compound are alleged to have between October 30 and November 1, 2017 jointly and whilst acting together stole 48 multi vitamin supplements, 13 chocolates and 69 Gillette blades.
The items are altogether valued at K18,887.
Taking plea before magistrate Irene Wishimanga today, Lindani Ndhlovu admitted stealing from Pick n Pay stores.
Ndhlovu told magistrate Wishimanga that she only stole food stuffs and lotion and not multi vitamin supplements and Gillette blades.
“Your honor I only got food stuffs and not those other things,” Lindani said.
Meanwhile, Mutanda and Nthembi Nkosi denied stealing assorted items from Pick n Pay stores.
The matter comes up on November 22 for Lindani’s sentencing and fixing of trial date for Mutanda and Nthembi Nkosi.
