Four PF cadres who intercepted a convoy of trucks ferrying Mukula logs have pleaded not guilty to a charge of theft.
In this matter, Venny Musonda, Augustine Mukuka, Robson Chipili and Fanny Zimba are charged with theft of property belonging to ZAFFICCO.
When the case came up before magistrate Ruth Kapulo, Tuesday, all the accused denied the charge.
Musonda and his co-accused are being represented by lawyer Kelvin Bwalya Fube.
Allegations are that on December 29, 2017 the accussed jointly and whilst acting together did steal K17,000, USD1,300 and a phone altogether valued at K36,000.
The matter comes up on March 7 for possible commencement of trial.
