A 37-YEAR-OLD general worker has been dragged to court for obtaining money from six job seekers after he lied to them that he had jobs for them, when in fact not. Kelvin Hamapa is charged with six counts of obtaining money by false pretences. In the first count, Hamapa is alleged to have between September 30 and October 30, 2022 in Lusaka, with intent to defraud, obtained K19,500 from Melani Mwansa by falsely pretending that he had a job offer for her, when in fact not.
