OVER 80 people have dragged the African Covenant Church in Zambia (ACCZ) to the Lusaka High Court seeking a declaration that the church’s Secretary General should amend their constitution so as to outlaw polygamy. Morton Tembo and 86 others have sued Reverend Patrick Sichone, also seeking an order that an audit be conducted by independent persons to establish the extent of misappropriation and misapplication of church funds. They also want an order that church members who were unconstitutionally removed be reinstated.
