THE Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has committed three Misisi men to the High Court for sentencing in a matter in which they are charged with trafficking a four-year-old girl. The court heard that the accused, who include the victim’s stepfather, approached a man in Makeni Villa and informed him that they had a girl they were selling for K150,000. Simon Silomba, 30, a wheelbarrow pusher and the victim’s stepfather, Martin Sichalwe, 41, a security guard and Kennedy Sichiweza, 30, a businessman, are facing one count of child trafficking contrary to Section 3(A) of the Anti-Human Trafficking (Amendment) Act Number 16 of 2022 of the Laws of Zambia.
