THE Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has committed Meya Masumba Miti, wife of the late former Director of the Seed Control and Certification Institute (SCCI), Francis Miti, to the High Court for trial in connection with his murder last year. She will face trial alongside two traditional doctors accused of being involved in the killing. Meya Masumba Miti, 55, a secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture in Mount Makulu, Chilanga District, appeared in court yesterday with her co-accused: Florence Banda, 43, a herbalist from Matero, and Yamikani Banda, 50, a farmer and herbalist from Chipata, Eastern Province.
