MINISTRY of Information and Media Permanent Secretary Thabo Kawana says government enacted the Access to Information law in order to enhance transparency and accountability around CDF implementation, among other issues. And PF Kanchibiya MP Sunday Chanda has invited citizens, including general secretaries of political parties to feel free to monitor the CDF implementation in his constituency. While stating that days of confidential information were long gone, Kawana said the ATI law would compel CDF handlers to prepare meaningful information and make it accessible to the general public.
