AN American tourist identified as Juliana Gle Tourneau, 64, has died after an elephant attack in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. This incident follows another American tourist’s death in April, also due to an elephant attack in Kafue National Park. In an interview, Ministry of Tourism Permanent Secretary Evans Luhanga confirmed that the incident occurred when the woman and her group disembarked from a vehicle to take pictures of the elephants. “From the report, [information] is that they went to the Devils pool, on their way at Maramba near the bridge there, they found the elephants when they were crossing.
