HIGHER Education Authority Director General Professor Kazhila Chinsembu says inadequate funding for research has put the higher education system in an awkward and negative situation. Speaking during 27th International Symposium on Electronic Theses and Dissertations, Tuesday, Prof Chinsembu noted that many colleges and universities were teaching obsolete, archaic forms of knowledge. He argued that if this was not addressed, higher learning institutions would soon become graveyards of knowledge. “We have hardworking librarians that deserve commendation.
