THE Zambia Environmental Management Agency (ZEMA) has approved 89 projects with a total investment cost of $441 million. In a statement, ZEMA Board Chairperson Professor Lovejoy Malambo said the energy sector had the highest total among the approved projects, with an investment cost of $271 million. “On 28th November 2024, the Zambia Environmental Management Agency’s Environmental Assessment Committee (EAC) of the Board of Directors approved 89 projects with a total investment cost of US$441 Million.
